The Batesville 7th Grade Volleyball had a tough lost against Sunman Dearborn: 25-21 and 25-24. All the girls played very hard. Kaylin Hinners and Kaylie Raver each had 3 aces and 4 great serves. Following was Elena Kuisel with 2 aces and 5 good serves. Annie Shane had 7 good serves, and great defensive passes. Sydney Slavin had 4 good serves. Margaret Wilson led the team with 2 kills at the net. Taylor Blanton had to great hits at the net and Renee’ Lecher had 1 great hit. Laura Schwegman and Sara Lamping both had great defensive passes. The BMS 8th Grade Volleyball team defeated Sunman Dearborn 25-17, 25-22. The team was consistent in all parts of the game. They had solid passing, hitting, and serving. They played with a lot of enthusiasm. From the front line Jadyn Harrington had 4 kills. Cayman Werner, Timbre Davies, and Kaitlyn Sarringhaus each had 2 kills. Samantha Kessens added 1 kill. Top server was Laney Walsman with 14 points including 2 aces. Jadyn Harrington added 5 points, Kennedy Westrick had 4 points, Cayman Werner and Timbre Davies added 3 points each.
