Dillsboro, In. — Dillsboro Police Chief Ryan Brandt has resigned and will continue to serve as a school resource officer. Brandt joined the department as a reserve in 1989 and became the first full-time officer in 2001.
Brandt will return to South Dearborn High School where he graduated to serve as school resource officer.
Dillsboro town council has named Josh Cady as the new Police Chief.
