The Batesville Bulldog Track and Field team traveled to East Central to compete in their 6 team invitational on Friday Evening. Things were set up a little different than regular meets, as each team was allowed to enter 3 competitors in each individual event instead of the usual 2, and all 3 could score. Scoring was given to the top 6 in each event. The East Central Trojans showed their depth as they were crowned champions in both the boys and the girls competition. The East Central Girls truly dominated winning by almost 100 points to the other teams, scoring an incredible 201 points. Franklin County came in 2nd with 102, Greensburg just outscored Batesville 88 to 82, taking 3rd and 4th respectively as Oldenburg Academy was 5th with 18. For the boys East Central had 179.5 points with Franklin County also claiming 2nd with 135.5 points. The Bulldogs places 3rd with 92 with Greensburg, Oldenburg and Archbishop Moeller following with 51, 23 and 15 points. Although the teams scores may not have been what we were hoping for, we did have some champions and several personal bests.

And finishing out the scoring in 6th place were: Roxi Hund-100m hurdles; Jake Cruse-100m dash; Katie Bohman-300m hurdles; Gavin Koester-200m dash.
