Robert A. Miller, passed away on January 20, 2018. He was born on June 5, 1924 in Sunman, IN to the late Walter and Emma (nee Faber) Miller. He graduated high school and then served in the US Army in WWII. He was a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star recipient. Robert was a member of the Sunman American Legion Post 337 and the DAV in Northern Kentucky. He was a farmer all of his life until they sold the family farm in the 80’s.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, siblings: Howard Miller, Ida Boerstler, Albert Miller and Raymond Miller.
Those left to cherish his memory are his nieces & Nephews: Joyce Shepherd, Gary Miller, Melvin Miller, Rebecca Jackson; sister-in-law: Irene Miller and many great nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 28, 2018 from 1 PM until the time of the funeral service at 1:30 PM at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 12523 N. Dearborn Rd. Sunman, Indiana 47041. Burial to follow in the Church Cemetery with Military honors.
