The 8th Grade Lady Eagles traveled to Greendale and came away with win number 2, 31-21.
They came out strong ending quarter 2, 10-3. At the half they saw themselves up 13-7. They kept up the defense in the 3rd quarter with the score at 21-10. The Tigers got a few quick 3’s to cut into the lead, but the Eagles used good teamwork to finish on top, 31-21.
Scoring for the Eagles: C. Simon 10, Cullen 9, Williams 6, Newhart 4, and Sparks 2. Great job ladies.
The 7th Grade were defeated. They are now 0-2.
Their next contest will be next Tuesday at North Decatur.
The 8th Grade JCD Lady Eagles started their regular season Tuesday at Southwestern with a win 39-19.
Great Defense helped to seal the win with the team creating 12 steals. Williams lead all scorers with 17. Adding to the score were, Cullen 7, Fullmer 5, Sparks 4, K. Simon, C Simon, and Newhart each with 2. Great Teamwork to start off the season with a win. The will take on Greendale Wednesday.
The 7th Grade Lady Eagles feel short with a 21-5 loss to Southwestern.
