Brookville, In. — Franklin County will begin 2018 with a new engineer. Officials say Joe Copeland will replace Ted Cooley who resigned last year.
Cooley resigned after taking responsibility for grant requests made to INDOT that were determined to be incomplete and unclear by officials.
Copeland has worked as an engineer for Superior Construction, Inc., and highway departments in Henry and Hancock Counties. Copeland will earn $75,000 per year.
