Ripley County, In. — A report from the Ripley County Sheriff’s Department says one person was seriously injured in a crash Saturday evening.
Around 5:30 a car driven by Kelsey Brandes, 20, of Versailles, was driving left of center on Tanglewood Road. While traveling through a curve she collided with a moped driven by Carl Wagner, 58, of Versailles.
Brandes was treated at the scene. She was cited for driving left of center and no valid insurance. Wagner was airlifted for treatment with apparent serious injuries.
The Ripley County Sheriff’s Department was assisted by Rescue 69, the Versailles Fire Department and Ripley County Medics.
