The Batesville JV Football team captured their first win of the season on Monday, August 28th at Milan. The Bulldogs defeated the Indians 22-6.
Drew Kiefer led the offense with three total touchdowns. Kiefer ran for a touchdown as well threw a touchdown pass to JT Linkel and another touchdown pass to Tyler Myers. Zach Jones also received a 2 point conversion pass from Kiefer, and Brayden Linkel ran in a 2 point conversion run to complete the scoring.
Defensively, the Bulldogs were lead by Zach Jones in tackles and Hank Nobbe recorded a sack.
The JV team improved their record to 1-1 on the season and will play at home next Monday versus South Dearborn.
