Sunman, In. — The Sunman Rural Fire Department has ordered the evacuation of an apartment building at 127 South Meridian Street. Four families, a total of 16 people have been relocated to a local hotel. The Red Cross is assisting. There is no official reason given for the order.
The town board will hold an emergency meeting next week to address the situation.
