Minor injuries reported in Ripley County truck crash

Osgood, In. —A Monday morning crash in Ripley County resulted in minor injuries to a Goshen, Indiana truck driver.

A report from the Ripley County Sheriff’s Department says around 11 a.m. a truck hauling aluminum planks driven by Forrest Hershberger, 49, was southbound on U.S. 421 near County Road 100 North when he ran off the right side of the highway. Hershberger told police he was unable to regain control and truck rolled into the ditch spilling the load of aluminum. It took several hours to recover the cargo and clean up the scene.

Hershberger was treated for non life threatening injuries.
