The St Louis 5th Grade Lady Cardinals came up victorious for their 8th winof the season on Thursday evening beating the Laurel Lady Yellow Jackets by a score of 23-9.
Scoring for the Cardinals was led by Madison Wanstrath’s 5 points, Lilly Schebler, Kate Weber, and Rhea Miller each with 4 points while Claire Saner and Sadie Wachsmann each added 2 points. Additional team contributions from Izzy Price, Izza Wonnell, and Isabelle Fitzgerald ensured that a commanding 3rd quarter lead was held onto the 4th quarter.
The Lady Cardinals are currently riding an 8 game win streak and have a record of 8-2 on the season.
The Lady Cardinals will finish their season next week with a game Tuesday (2/28) at home against Sunman-Dearborn and wrapping up their season on the road at St Nicholas on Thursday (3/2).
