FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ind. — The Indiana Department of Transportation is planning a $1.9 million bridge repair project on State Road 1 in Franklin County in late-March.
INDOT single lanes on the bridge over the Whitewater River will be restricted for up to 180 days.
Contractors will be installing a new driving surface, new concrete bridge rails, and install new approach slabs.
Temporary traffic signals will be installed to control traffic flow.
Signage should be installed starting March 6.
