Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 4,028 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 on Tuesday. A total of 500,282 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 2,613,675 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at a 19.1% positive rate and 164 new deaths were reported for a total of 7,703 Hoosiers have died across the state.
Dearborn County has a total of 3,731 cases and 40 deaths reported (up 35 new cases), Decatur County has a total of 2,066 positive cases and 72 deaths (up 9 new cases and 1 new death), Franklin County has 1,181 positive cases and 28 deaths (up 24 new cases), and Ripley County has 2,417 positive cases and 40 deaths (up 22 new cases). Locally, this is an increase of 90 new positive cases and 1 new death.
