Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 4,819 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 on Wednesday. A total of 505,017 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 2,622,879 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at a 19.3% positive rate and 109 new deaths were reported for a total of 7,812 Hoosiers have died across the state.
Dearborn County has a total of 3,772 cases and 40 deaths reported (up 41 new cases), Decatur County has a total of 2,077 positive cases and 73 deaths (up 11 new cases and 1 new death), Franklin County has 1,199 positive cases and 28 deaths (up 18 new cases), and Ripley County has 2,435 positive cases and 40 deaths (up 19 new cases). Locally, this is an increase of 89 new positive cases and 1 new death.
