Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 9,731 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 since last Wednesday. A total of 701,971 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 3,311,123 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at a 21.2% positive rate and 103 new deaths were reported for a total of 12,782 Hoosiers have died across the state.
In one week, Dearborn County has a total of 5,669 cases and 75 deaths reported (up 41 new cases and 2 new deaths), Decatur County has a total of 2,785 positive cases and 92 deaths (up 13 new cases), Franklin County has 1,651 positive cases and 35 deaths (up 14 new cases), and Ripley County has 3,332 positive cases and 68 deaths (up 15 new cases up 1 new death). This is an increase of 83 new cases and 3 new deaths this week locally.
