Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 3,726 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 on Monday. A total of 567,338 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 2,762,573 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at a 20.5% positive rate and 30 new deaths were reported for a total of 8,643 Hoosiers have died across the state.
Dearborn County has a total of 4,340 cases and 41 deaths reported (up 39 new cases), Decatur County has a total of 2,330 positive cases and 80 deaths (up 13 new cases), Franklin County has 1,367 positive cases and 30 deaths (up 8 new cases), and Ripley County has 2,820 positive cases and 44 deaths (up 21 new cases). Locally, this is an increase of 81 new positive cases.
