Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 3,869 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 over the weekend. A total of 648,875 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 3,049,828 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at a 21.3% positive rate and 142 new deaths were reported for a total of 11,746 Hoosiers have died across the state.
Dearborn County has a total of 5,291 cases and 62 deaths reported (up 35 new cases and 2 new deaths), Decatur County has a total of 2,676 positive cases and 88 deaths (up 12 new cases), Franklin County has 1,568 positive cases and 35 deaths (up 6 new cases), and Ripley County has 3,213 positive cases and 58 deaths (up 26 new cases). Locally, this is an increase of 79 new positive cases and 2 new deaths.
