Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 3,686 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 on Wednesday. A total of 574,119 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 2,779,991 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at a 20.7% positive rate and 59 new deaths were reported for a total of 8,790 Hoosiers have died across the state.
Dearborn County has a total of 4,389 cases and 43 deaths reported (up 23 new cases and 2 new deaths), Decatur County has a total of 2,350 positive cases and 81 deaths (up 9 new cases), Franklin County has 1,386 positive cases and 33 deaths (up 12 new cases and 1 new death), and Ripley County has 2,845 positive cases and 45 deaths (up 16 new cases). Locally, this is an increase of 60 new positive cases and 3 new deaths.
