The 5th Grade Cardinals kicked off their season with a tough 26-6 loss to a skilled Milan squad. Despite their best efforts and strong teamwork, the Cardinals couldn’t overcome the experience of their opponents.
Halle Meyer led the team with 4 points, while Edie Walke added 2 more to the scoreboard.
The Cardinals will look to bounce back on Wednesday night when they host North Vernon at home.
