Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 3,191 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 on Tuesday. A total of 570,477 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 2,770,157 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at a 20.6% positive rate and 88 new deaths were reported for a total of 8,731 Hoosiers have died across the state.
Dearborn County has a total of 4,366 cases and 41 deaths reported (up 26 new cases), Decatur County has a total of 2,341 positive cases and 81 deaths (up 11 new cases and 1 new death), Franklin County has 1,374 positive cases and 32 deaths (up 5 new cases and 2 new deaths), and Ripley County has 2,829 positive cases and 45 deaths (up 9 new cases and 1 new death). Locally, this is an increase of 51 new positive cases and 4 new deaths.
