Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 22,474 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 over the weekend. A total of 381,617 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 2,309,879 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at a 16.5% positive rate and 196 new deaths were reported for a total of 5,944 Hoosiers have died across the state.
Dearborn County has a total of 2,720 cases and 33 deaths reported (up 192 new cases and 1 new death), Decatur County has a total of 1,579 positive cases and 46 deaths (up 127 new cases), Franklin County has 856 positive cases and 28 deaths (up 54 new cases), and Ripley County has 1,806 positive cases and 27 deaths (up 136 new cases and 5 new deaths). Locally, this is an increase of 509 new positive cases and 6 new deaths.
