Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 21,003 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 over the weekend. A total of 251,597 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 1,938,289 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at a 13.0% positive rate and 97 new deaths were reported for a total of 4,660 Hoosiers have died across the state.
Dearborn County has a total of 1,677 cases and 29 deaths reported (up 135 new cases), Decatur County has a total of 1,035 positive cases and 41 deaths (up 113 new cases and 1 new death), Franklin County has 532 positive cases and 25 deaths (up 32 new cases), and Ripley County has 960 positive cases and 12 deaths (up 198 new cases). Locally, this is an increase of 478 new positive cases and 1 new death.
