Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 20,927 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 over the weekend. A total of 425,434 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 2,423,719 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at a 17.6% positive rate and 193 new deaths were reported for a total of 6,495 Hoosiers have died across the state.
Dearborn County has a total of 3,092 cases and 37 deaths reported (up 178 new cases), Decatur County has a total of 1,785 positive cases and 50 deaths (up 103 new cases and 4 new deaths), Franklin County has 976 positive cases and 28 deaths (up 54 new cases), and Ripley County has 2,030 positive cases and 32 deaths (up 105 new cases and 4 new deaths). Locally, this is an increase of 440 new positive cases and 8 new deaths.
