43 Hoosiers died from COVID-19 and case count rises over the weekend

Statewide—Over the weekend, the Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced that 1056 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 over the weekend.  A total of 11,210 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus.  To date, 61,142 tests have been reported to ISDH and a total of 562 Hoosiers have died to date.

Locally, Decatur County has a total of 168 positive cases and 18 deaths (up 3 cases and 1 death, respectively), Franklin County has 89 positive cases (2 new cases) and 7 deaths, and Ripley County has to 82 positive cases (up 5 cases) and 3 deaths.
