It’s a day full of cute pets, adorable babies, roaring engines, and high fashion at the Rush County 4-H Fair.
The fun starts at 9 a.m. with the 4-H Cat & Pocket Pet Show in the Root Building, followed by the always-popular Baby Show at 11 a.m. in the RCHS Laughlin Center. Doors open at 10.
The midway opens at 6 p.m. with $25 wristbands available daily at the fairgrounds.
Over at the grandstand, things get loud at 6 p.m. with semi and tractor pulls, featuring street-legal semis, farm stock tractors, and outlaw antiques. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for kids, and $20 for pit access. A pedal tractor pull will also take place in front of the grandstand.
At 7 p.m., the spotlight shifts back to the Laughlin Center for the 4-H Fashion Revue, where local youth showcase their sewing skills and personal style.
Stay tuned all week for more highlights from the Rush County 4-H Fair.
