**UPDATED ARRANGEMENTS**
Nancy Louise (New) Dittmer, 75, of Aurora passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2024, at her home. Nancy was born on Monday, February 28, 1949, in Milan; daughter of Noell “Gene” New and Mabel (Stacy) New. Nancy married the love of her life, Joe Dittmer, on November 11, 1967, and he survives. Nancy worked at JTM Food Group in accounts payable. She was a lifetime member of the Milan Wesleyan Church and was an active volunteer at the Milan Food Pantry. She had a passion for quilting, enjoyed collecting Longaberger baskets, and enjoyed watching IU basketball. She and her husband also enjoyed traveling, especially taking trips to the Smoky Mountains. Most of all Nancy dearly loved her grandchildren and always supported them at all their events.Nancy will be missed by her husband Joe Dittmer of Aurora; sons Troy (Chris) Dittmer of Burlington, Kentucky, Wade (Kim) Dittmer of Milford, Ohio, and Scott (Melinda) Dittmer of Greenwood, Indiana; mother Mabel New of Milan; sisters Debbie (Gary) Franklin of Aurora and Sharon (Fred) Glover of Milan; and grandchildren Logan, Brady, Landon, Owen, and Levi Dittmer.
Nancy was preceded in death by her father Gene New.
Family and friends may gather in remembering Nancy from 1:00- 3:00 PM, Sunday, December 29, 2024, at Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home in Milan. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, December 30, 2024, at Milan Wesleyan Church: 419 N. Main St., Milan, IN 47031, with Pastor Andrew Hosier officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Sinai Cemetery. Memorials may be given in honor of Nancy to the Milan Wesleyan Church.
