Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 1,172 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 on Wednesday. A total of 139,269 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 1,503,923 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at a 9.2% positive rate and 14 new deaths were reported for a total of 3,609 Hoosiers have died across the state.
Dearborn County has a total of 812 cases and 28 deaths reported (up 11 new cases), Decatur County has a total of 483 positive cases and 39 deaths (up 2 new cases), Franklin County has 335 positive cases and 25 deaths (up 13 new cases), and Ripley County has 382 positive cases and 8 deaths (up 8 new cases). Locally, this is an increase of 34 new positive cases.
