Oldenburg Academy varsity baseball wins in dominant fashion over North Decatur

On Monday, Oldenburg Academy earned a 12-3 road win over to North Decatur.

In the second inning, the Twisters pulled away for good with five runs in the second innings to make it a 5-3 game.

Jacob Stenger took the win for Oldenburg Academy, going six innings, allowing three runs on six hits and striking out ten. Eckstein threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Kamdennn McKinney took the loss for North Decatur. The southpaw allowed nine hits and eight runs over four innings, striking out three.

James Evans, Brayden Hancock, Xander Jones, Ty Litmer, Ried Messer, and McKinney each managed one hit each for the Chargers.

Oldenburg Academy collected 13 hits. Jacob Hoff, Sizemore, Jacob Cornelius, and Muckerheide all had multiple hits. Hoff went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead the Twisters in hits.
