On Thursday night, the 5th-grade Lady Cardinals faced a talented St. Nicholas team. The
Lady Cardinals started slow and never really could catch up. St. Nicholas jumped out to an early 10-point lead going into halftime and never looked back. The girls fought hard but eventually lost to a more seasoned team. The Lady Cardinals’ points came from Norah Hermesch with 4 points and Isla Padgett with 2 points.
The Lady Cardinals hit the court again next Tuesday at home versus Mount Carmel. The 5th-grade game tips off at 6 pm.
