Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 11,717 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 over the weekend. A total of 590,211 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 2,831,352 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at a 20.8% positive rate and 106 new deaths were reported for a total of 8,936 Hoosiers have died across the state.
Dearborn County has a total of 4,584 cases and 44 deaths reported (up 151 new cases and 1 new death), Decatur County has a total of 2,421 positive cases and 82 deaths (up 48 new cases), Franklin County has 1,434 positive cases and 33 deaths (up 41 new cases), and Ripley County has 2,923 positive cases and 45 deaths (up 52 new cases). Locally, this is an increase of 292 new positive cases and 1 new death.
