28 new cases reported locally over the weekend

Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 2,816 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 over the weekend. A total of 667,262 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 3,150,418 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at a 21.2% positive rate and 79 new deaths were reported for a total of 12,310 Hoosiers have died across the state.

Dearborn County has a total of 5,515 cases and 70 deaths reported (up 16 new cases and 1 new death), Decatur County has a total of 2,716 positive cases and 88 deaths (up 5 new cases), Franklin County has 1,601 positive cases and 35 deaths (up 5 new cases), and Ripley County has 3,280 positive cases and 62 deaths (up 2 new cases). This is an increase of 28 new positive cases and 1 new death.
