The Batesville Bulldogs Swim team once again hit the road to compete at the Madison Small Team Invitational on Saturday, December 5. Overall, the Bulldogs finished in third place for both teams.
“This meet was an absolute blast,” said head coach Greg McMullen, “we always appreciate the competition and how this meet brings out the best for so many of our kids.”
The Bulldogs swam a number of lifetime bests at this meet with a number of other athletes swimming very close to those previous season efforts.
“We still have a long way to go before this season wraps up, but we’re ready to get back to our training regimen next week.”
The Bulldogs were scheduled to compete at the Shelby Relays Invitational on December 12, but that meet has been canceled and the team will be taking a week off from competition to continue training towards their end of season goals.
