Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 9,102 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 over the weekend. A total of 611,039 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 2,900,051 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at a 21.1% positive rate and 122 new deaths were reported for a total of 9,340 Hoosiers have died across the state.
Dearborn County has a total of 4,832 cases and 45 deaths reported (up 128 new cases), Decatur County has a total of 2,489 positive cases and 83 deaths (up 41 new cases), Franklin County has 1,490 positive cases and 33 deaths (up 21 new cases), and Ripley County has 3,000 positive cases and 46 deaths (up 35 new cases and 1 new death). Locally, this is an increase of 225 new positive cases and 1 new death.
