Sunman man sentenced for drug-related offenses in Dearborn County

Lawrenceburg, In. — It took a Dearborn County jury about 30-minutes to convict Sunman resident, Scott Vaughn Jr., 32, for multiple drug-related offenses.

During the four day trial, the jury heard testimony from investigators from the Indiana State Police, Aurora Police Department, lab technicians and witnesses.

Following the verdict, judge Jon Cleary ordered Vaughn to be sentenced on May 20 for dealing in methamphetamine (more than five grams), possession of methamphetamine, possession of a syringe and possession of paraphernalia.

Vaughn could face up to 16 years in prison for the dealing in methamphetamine charge alone.
