Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 977 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 on Thursday. A total of 680,998 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 3,224,904 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at a 21.1% positive rate and 8 new deaths were reported for a total of 12,576 Hoosiers have died across the state.
Dearborn County has a total of 5,573 cases and 72 deaths reported (up 10 new cases), Decatur County has a total of 2,749 positive cases and 92 deaths (up 4 new cases), Franklin County has 1,627 positive cases and 35 deaths (up 1 new case), and Ripley County has 3,303 positive cases and 66 deaths (up 3 new cases ). This is an increase of 18 new cases locally.
