Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 6,021 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 over the weekend. A total of 633,690 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 3,006,430 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at a 21.3% positive rate and 170 new deaths were reported for a total of 11,170 Hoosiers have died across the state.
Dearborn County has a total of 5,188 cases and 60 deaths reported (up 60 new cases), Decatur County has a total of 2,639 positive cases and 88 deaths (up 61 new cases and 1 new death), Franklin County has 1,561 positive cases and 35 deaths (up 16 new cases and 1 new death), and Ripley County has 3,159 positive cases and 57 deaths (up 39 new cases and 1 new death). Locally, this is an increase of 176 new positive cases and 3 new deaths.
