17 new COVID-19 cases reported over weekend

Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) has reported that 1,822 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 over the weekend. A total of 111,505 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 1,301,940 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at an 8.6% positivity rate and 11 new deaths were reported for a total of 3,281 Hoosier deaths since March 2020.

Dearborn County has a total of 626 cases and 28 deaths reported (up 10 new cases), Decatur County has a total of 453 positive cases and 39 deaths (up 3 news cases), Franklin County has 297 positive cases and 25 deaths (up 4 new cases), and Ripley County has 278 positive cases and 8 deaths (no change). Locally, this is an increase of 17 new positive cases.
