Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 5,702 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 on Tuesday. A total of 306,538 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 2,107,744 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at a 14.5% positive rate and 103 new deaths were reported for a total of 5,169 Hoosiers have died across the state.
Dearborn County has a total of 2,157 cases and 31 deaths reported (up 69 new cases and 1 new death), Decatur County has a total of 1,246 positive cases and 43 deaths (up 11 new cases and 1 new death), Franklin County has 686 positive cases and 26 deaths (up 37 new cases and 1 new death), and Ripley County has 1,281 positive cases and 14 deaths (up 44 new cases). Locally, this is an increase of 161 new positive cases and 3 new deaths.
