Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 17,164 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 over the weekend. A total of 464,354 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 2,523,679 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at a 18.4% positive rate and 210 new deaths were reported for a total of 7,070 Hoosiers have died across the state.
Dearborn County has a total of 3,416 cases and 39 deaths reported (up 164 new cases and 1 new death), Decatur County has a total of 1,932 positive cases and 61 deaths (up 82 new cases and 3 new deaths), Franklin County has 1,075 positive cases and 28 deaths (up 40 new cases), and Ripley County has 2,226 positive cases and 37 deaths (up 94 new cases and 3 new deaths). Locally, this is an increase of 153 new positive cases and 7 new deaths.
