Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 7,459 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 over the weekend. A total of 162,607 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 1,629,468 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at a 10.0% positive rate and 63 new deaths were reported for a total of 3,894 Hoosiers have died across the state.
Dearborn County has a total of 1,017 cases and 28 deaths reported (up 68 new cases), Decatur County has a total of 525 positive cases and 39 deaths (up 21 new cases), Franklin County has 381 positive cases and 25 deaths (up 9 new cases), and Ripley County has 474 positive cases and 8 deaths (up 33 new cases). Locally, this is an increase of 131 new positive cases.
