Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 5,700 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 on Monday. A total of 387,278 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 2,323,969 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at a 16.7% positive rate and 42 new deaths were reported for a total of 5,986 Hoosiers have died across the state.
Dearborn County has a total of 2,770 cases and 33 deaths reported (up 50 new cases), Decatur County has a total of 1,604 positive cases and 46 deaths (up 25 new cases), Franklin County has 871 positive cases and 28 deaths (up 15 new cases), and Ripley County has 1,845 positive cases and 27 deaths (up 39 new cases). Locally, this is an increase of 129 new positive cases.
