Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 5,518 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 on Tuesday. A total of 338,977 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 2,217,258 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at a 15.5% positive rate and 142 new deaths were reported for a total of 5,598 Hoosiers have died across the state.
Dearborn County has a total of 2,442 cases and 32 deaths reported (up 31 new cases and 1 new death), Decatur County has a total of 1,407 positive cases and 45 deaths (up 7 new cases and 1 new death), Franklin County has 784 positive cases and 27 deaths (up 14 new cases), and Ripley County has 1,606 positive cases and 21 deaths (up 49 new cases). Locally, this is an increase of 101 new positive cases and 2 new deaths.
