South Decatur Elementary School has introduced a new fundraising program called My School Color Run. The My School Color Run program aims to go beyond traditional fundraising. On Sept. 3, at 9 a.m., the students, staff, and community of South Decatur Elementary School will walk, jog, and run their way toward a healthier life while raising funds for the PTO’s Playground Revitalization Project. The color run will be held at South Decatur Jr-Sr High School, and will be open to the public. This is an untimed fun run. Participants will pass through four color stations throughout the course and end with a massive color toss at the My Color Run Post-Race Party. Participants will be treated to refreshments, music, and fun following the run. Interested participants of all ages can register by visiting www.SouthDecaturMSCR.eventbrite.com, or by completing a paper registration form prior to the event.
