Lady Bulldogs Middle School Volleyball Teams Battle Lady Panthers

VolleyballThe BMS 7th Grade Volleyball team played well, but still fell to Jennings County in 3 games; 22-25, 25-20, 15-10.

Chloe Schroeder, Megan Sloan, and Paige Stirn had good passing in the back row against the hitting team.  From the service line, Nikki Fox earned 13 points.  Fox also contributed 4 kills from the front row.  Kylie Laker chipped in with 2 kills for the team. Grace Habig, Shalee Harrington, and Belle Wolters had one kill each.

The 8th Grade BMS Volleyball team started slow, but battled Jennings County the next two games eventually falling 25-9; 18-25; 15-10.

Abigail Westerfeld led the team with 7 service points. Sarah Ronnebaum, Macy Prickel, and Anna Bauer chipped in with 3 points each. Prickel and Bauer led the team in spiking with 5 and 4 kills respectively. Biz Mullen had an excellent dig late in the second game. Jade Pflum and Kari Reer contributed with solid back row passing.

The teams will face Jac-Cen-Del in the first round of the SEI Volleyball Tourney at home on Monday.
