Lady Bulldogs And Lady Trojans Battle In The Rain

SoftballThe Batesville Bulldogs Varsity fall 8-4 to East Central.

Batesville vs. East Central Varsity Softball (4-15)

Meg Liter collected three hits, but the Batesville Bulldogs Varsity still fell to East Central 8-4 in seven innings on Wednesday.
Two of the Batesville Bulldogs Varsity’s runs were scored thanks to timely hitting by Liter. She homered in the first inning and singled in the second and fifth innings.

East Central was sparked by #20 and #2, who teamed up for four hits and seven RBIs.

The Batesville Bulldogs Varsity jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the top of the first. A solo home run by Liter started the inning off.
East Central tied the game in the third on a sacrifice fly by #13 that scored #10.

East Central never surrendered the lead after the fourth inning, scoring two runs on a two-run single by #2.

The JV game ended up tied 8-8.

BHS vs. EC JV Softball (4-15)

Weather permitting we will host Franklin County tonight with a 5:30pm varsity start time.
