The Good, the Bad, & the Ugly: Round 2

Whether your produce is “good,” “bad” or “ugly,” you could be rewarded for your efforts in “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly: Round 2″ contest presented by 5 Oaks Garden Center.

To enter, simply bring your largest home-grown produce in the categories of cabbage, cucumbers, tomatoes, gourds, and squash to 5 Oaks Garden Center any Friday before 4 pm no later than Friday, October 23, 2015. Produce will be measured by weight (pounds, and ounces), length, width, circumference, and appearance.

If yours is selected, you’ll win bragging rights, get your picture taken, and win one of various prizes from the 5 Oaks Garden Center and WRBI Radio.

Grand Prize winners will be announced on Wednesday, October 28 during WRBI’s live broadcast from the 5 Oaks Garden Center from 11 am to Noon.

There will be a free cookout that begins at 6:00 p.m. and will continue until 8:00 p.m. at the Cedar Grove Fire Department. National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods a safer, better place to live.  Neighborhoods across the nation host block parties, festivals, parades, and cookouts.
