BATESVILLE – Pulskamps Flooring Plus, Skyline Chili and WRBI teamed up once again this summer for the Rosie Red Contest giving participants weekly prizes and money-saving coupons.

The big prize this year was $500 worth of flooring from Pulskamps Flooring Plus. On Friday, Patrick Hanley of Pulskamps drew Russ Salzman as the winner.

Congratulations to Russ and all our weekly winners this summer! A big thank you to Pulskamp’s and Skyline Chili.

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

Are you bursting with pride about what comes out of your garden?

Whether your produce is “good,” “bad” or “ugly,” you could be rewarded for your efforts in “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly” contest presented by 5 Oaks Garden Center.

To enter, simply bring your largest home-grown produce in the categories of cabbage, cucumbers, tomatoes, gourds, and squash to 5 Oaks Garden Center any Friday before noon. Produce will be measured by weight (pounds, and ounces) and by appearance.

If yours is selected, you’ll win bragging rights and a $25 gift certificate from the 5 Oaks Garden Center.

It is anticipated that the facility will produce energy greater than or equal than that it consumes. Please join us for lunch! Voices is hosting a Lunch & Learn on Thursday, December 18, in Madison and again on Friday, December 19, in Batesville! We will provide a light lunch, at no cost, while discussing how we are serving the abused and neglected children in Jefferson and Ripley counties. December 18th – 11:30-12:30 at The Old Market on Main, 801 W. Main St. in Madison with food provided by Crystal & Jules. December 19th – 11:30 – 12:30 at the Big Four Cafe, 121 S. Depot Street in Batesville.
