The Batesville Boys Varsity Tennis team defeated East Central 4-1 on Tuesday to improve their record to 5-1 on the season and 4-0 in the EIAC.
#1 Singles- Beau Brown was defeated by Jason Bosse 2-6, 1-6.
#2 Singles- Ben Schwettman defeated Bryce Stonefield 6-2, 6-0
#3 Singles- Spencer Rose defeated Allen Pope 6-2, 6-2
#1 Doubles- Harsh Patel and Paul Ritter defeated Matt Kuebel and Clark Maxwell 6-2, 6-2
#2 Doubles- Jonathan Kunkel and Will Harmeyer defeated Dominic Wintz and Braeden Wittich 6-0, 6-2
In JV, Batesville won 3-1 to imrpove their record to 6-0. Sam Giesting won in singles, while the doubles teams of Jacob Christie and Mitch Esser, Sam Esser and Brayden Worthington were all winners.
Batesville will play at home against Lawrenceburg at 4:30 on Thursday.
