The Batesville Boy’s Varsity Tennis team defeated Greensburg 5-0 on Monday to improve to 4-1 on the season and 3-0 in the EIAC.
#1 Singles- Beau Brown defeated Kyle Sellers 6-0, 6-2
#2 Singles- Ben Schwettman defeated David Lawrence 6-7 (2), 7-5, 10-6 (super tie break)
#3 Singles- Spencer Rose defeated Nathan Emsweller 6-4, 6-2
#1 Doubles- Paul Ritter and Harsh Patel defeated Dakaota Westerkamm and Alex Hughes 6-2, 6-2
#2 Doubles- Jonathan Kunkel and Will Harmeyer defeated Trevor Foster and Logan Smith 7-5, 6-2
In JV action, Batesville won 5-0 to improve their record to 5-0. Sam Giesting, George Ritter, Lane Westerfeld, and Cooper Williams won in singles while the doubles team of Jacob Christie and Sam Esser also won.
Both teams will play on Tuesday at home against East Central at 4 PM.
