Bulldogs Tame Tigers On The Track

Track & FieldThe Batesville High School track team hosted the Lawrenceburg Tigers tonight. The meet got off to a rocky start as a little rain and lightening caused a delay after 3 races. Then the skies opened up and the sun even shined for a little bit making for a very pleasant night. The dogs looked very strong as both the boys and the girls won all but one event.

Final scores for the boys were BHS-117 LHS-15 and the girls were BHS-109 LHS-21.

Again, the depth of the Bulldogs was present as many members of the team were plagued with a little injury and sickness, causing teammates to have to step up. And they did answer the challenge. Overall, the boys and girls both had 9 different individual champions and won all the relays. It was exciting to see thesuccess of so many different Bulldogs. You will also see the vast number of personal records broken at the end as well. Every practice and meet seems to get more exciting as our talent continues to grow.
