BATESVILLE, Miss. — After President-elect Donald Trump’s success at saving jobs at the Carrier plant in Indianapolis from moving to Mexico, more businesses are asking for help.
The mayor of Batesville, Mississippi is trying to get Trump’s attention to intervene in moving jobs from the Batesville Casket Company plant in Batesville, Mississippi.
Right now the plan is to move production from that plant in Mississippi to Mexico, which would put 200 people out of work.
